National Central Storage Facility of Vaccine and Biopreparation’s opening ceremony was held.

Moncon Construction has organized the National Central Storage Facility of Vaccine and Biopreperation’s opening ceremony on the 26th of August 2021. Prime Minister L.Oyun-Erdene, Deputy Prime Minister S.Amarsaikhan, and Minister of Health S.Enkhbold became acquainted with the operations of the Central Storage Facility of Vaccine and Biopreparation.

On the 5th of May 2021, the foundation lay down ceremony was held, thereafter three months later, the opening ceremony is being held and the operations of the facility have begun.

The United Nations Children’s Fund, Mongolian Government and the Mongolian Ministry of Health has completed the project of the Central Storage Facility of Vaccine and Bio preparation facility in order to achieve enhanced health capacity, response action, and preparedness to communicable diseases and was funded by The World Bank, Mongolia.

The facility has total 1,686-meter square area which included cooling room, freezer, dry storage and is equipped with state of art technology with a production capacity of 100 kilogram of dry ice. The facility is equipped with state of art technologies and solutions met the international standards and requirements of engineering and safety.
