Traffic jams and location

As citizens of Ulaanbaatar, we have spent many years wasting our precious time in traffic jams. For example, if we assume that we spend an average of 2.5 hours a day in a traffic jam, then we will spend 35 days a year on the road inefficiently and economically deficit.

Causes of traffic jams

The offices and shopping centers of most public and private organizations are centralized in the city center of Ulaanbaatar, around the Ikh Toiruu. As a result of the overcrowding in the city center, the traffic gets congested wıth the flow of people coming home and going to work and the “home-work-home” route has become congested to that extent.

A secondary cause of congestion is the issue of attending school or kindergarten located away from home. According to the survey, 110,000 children are taken to schools and kindergartens by vehicle. This is due to the lack of access to schools and kindergartens and the desire of parents to provide quality education for their children.

Therefore, in recent years, people have moved away from congested areas and given more importance to the location of their homes. So, what are the advantages of living in the 360 Mandala Tower, located 15 minutes from the city center?

NO TRAFFIC JAMS ON THE WAY TO AND FROM WORK

The “360 Mandala Tower” is located northwest of the National Park, so it takes only 5 minutes by car and 15 minutes by walk to cross the Olympic Bridge to reach the city center.

In the next few years, it is planned that 2000 household apartments will be built to the west of the E-mart intersection, and 540 household apartments will be commissioned to the south. Considering this area as an example, the “360 Mandala Tower” appears to be the most profitable apartment as traffic congestion increases, so does the amount of time spent in traffic jams.

GREAT ACCESSIBILITY TO SCHOOLS AND KINDERGARTENS

In the area around the National Park and the E-mart intersection, there are a number of schools and kindergartens that provide quality education for children. For example, the following schools operate at a close distance to the 360 Mandala Tower.

  • Olonlog school - 4 minutes away
  • Orchlon school - 5 minutes away
  • International School of Ulaanbaatar - 6 minutes away
  • Singapore School of Mongolia - 6 minutes away
  • Sakura International School - 7 minutes away
  • Orgil School - 10 minutes away
  • American School of Ulaanbaatar - 15 minutes away

Therefore, it is possible to send your child to a school close to your home and avoid traffic congestion during the rush hours of school start and end times.

As of today, 78 percent of Ulaanbaatar's roads are congested. Therefore, at the end of the report, “Do you want to be stuck in traffic jams? Or do you prefer to choose an apartment to live in a traffic-free area? ” We will leave the answer to you.
